Fresh, home cooked cuisine is a very important part of your holiday. With this in mind, we will cook in front of you many traditional, hearty recipes that have been specially selected to satisfy your desire for wholesome and nutritional food. This, together with a splendidly set table and lovely wines, will ensure that you look forward to each meal.
Start the day with a continental breakfast of fresh fruits and yoghurts, choice of cereals (including porridge), ‘Bakers basket’ – pain au chocolat and croissants, toast with regional confitures and honey, fruit juice, fresh coffee and tea.
After a busy day skiing, afternoon tea awaits you back at the Chalet. Choose from hot drinks – tea, coffee, hot chocolate, selection of Emma’s home-made cakes and biscuits (e.g. Traditional Victoria Sponge, Chocolate Digestive Slices, Orange and Poppy Seed Ring Sponge, Lemon Drizzle Cake) and fresh fruit.
Guests gather by the roaring fire for home-made nibbles and pre-dinner cocktails and drinks at 7.00pm (or at a time of your choice for whole chalet bookings). Matt will be cooking your freshly prepared 4 course dinner whilst you relax in the comfy lounge.
After a huge dinner and cheese platter, retire to the lounge for coffee in front of the log fire. Our very attentive dinner service will be a true delight in the company of friends old and new.
